All top performing reps from New Rev Group will be invited to attend our regional leader conference. The conference will focus on learning leadership skills, there will be keynote speakers, as well as plenty of opportunity to network with other business professionals. The reps will remain in California for the following week and visit some other branch offices ranging from downtown Los Angeles, to Orange County. New Rev Group Teams Up With Charitable Organizations “Operation Smile & Deseret Industries”

New Rev Group will be hosting a garage sale on Saturday April 16th 2011 from 9am – Noon to raise money for “Operation Smile” 100% of the proceeds will be donated on behalf of New Rev Group to Operation Smile. We will be accepting donations Friday April 15th. The garage sale will consist of items collected by reps from local business owners, reps themselves, as well as on the spot donations. Any items not sold on Saturday will be donated to the local Deseret Industries to be offered at a discount to low income families and the proceeds of such sales go to support the broader philanthropic effort of Deseret Industries.

New Rev Group Manager, Ron Gronewald, has worked in a variety of industries over the past 10 years, long enough to conclude that there has been a monumental shift in the workplace and in the workforce. Technology has irrevocably changed the way businesses interact with one another, customers, and employees. This has left a void of personal, one-on-one contact needed to facilitate strong personal relationships with customers and employees.
New Rev Group has found a niche market as a result of these changes. “Our business is based on creating and maintaining personal relationships. Our clients contract/hire us to personalize their marketing efforts, put a face and a body behind their brand and improve their customer’s experiences.” – states Gronewald.
New Rev Group has also had to adapt to these changes in the workforce. “Young employees are entering the workforce rooted in social media (facebook, twitter, linkedin, etc). Where and why has this disconnect between employer and employee happened? “I think it has been a shift in culture over the last couple of decades. We are an instant gratification society, we spend more than we make, we want everything, and we want it right now. Unfortunately, easy money and credit have flooded the markets in recent decades making this type of lifestyle possible. I think recent economic events have underscored that this type of lifestyle as a society is unsustainable in the long run and it will take time for our culture to respond. But it is responding, and I think in a positive manner. What I mean by that is this, young people have seen what happens when we live outside of our means (foreclosures, bankruptcies, companies laying off workers and going out of business) they also are understanding the why’s behind these events which is what is important. More and more people are waking up to the fact that money and success aren’t easy. It takes a lot of hard work, commitment, and sacrifice. Slowly but surely the workforce is embracing this as fact. The days of six figure incomes with little to no work required are gone. They also realize that the American dream is in fact possible; it’s just not going to come easy. As an employer, I am much more optimistic about the new workforce and their mindset. Night and day difference to the mentality of the workforce I was interviewing 5-8 years ago.”

Team Night Olympics – GAME ON – New Rev Group
TEAM NIGHT OLYMPICS
New Rev Group’s first annual “Team Night Olympics” is set to debut this Thursday night. Round (1) Darts – Cricket to be exact. Team captains will be chosen by field performance, their will be a draft, and then it’s game on!
Join us for a fun filled night of some serious competitions. The Olympics will consist of several rounds of different games. Next week will be a series of challenges from the game show “minute to win it”

Annual Leadership Conference – Dallas, TX – New Rev Group

Annual Leadership Conference – Dallas, Texas
All management and assistant management personnel will be headed to Dallas Texas this Friday for our annual leadership conference. The conference will feature key note speakers focusing on a variety of topics; financial management, time and priority management, public speaking, & team motivation techniques. There will also be some campaign/client specific updates as we will also have several guests from our some of our clients from industries ranging from office supplies, to energy, to telecom. The weekend is expected to be jam packed with knowledge and things we can implement on Monday to help improve the performance of our office locations nationwide. The never ending Wii Saga continues. Brian Lynch will look to defend his title from the last Wii Tourney the New Rev Group held. We all know Brian can bowl, and play wii tennis, but can he rap? This unique competition is sure to be a blast with plenty of laughs to go round. Who will emerge victorious in the Wii’s Rap Star tournament?

Orange County Location Visits Salt Lake – New Rev Group
Week of January 10th, 2011
The Orange County Quill office visited Salt Lake City, Utah the week of January 10th, 2011. The trip was lead by branch manager Ted and Top Leader Crystal. The trip was a success. The OC crew helped with training and development of new and senior account reps. Two reps finished in the Top 50 nation wide. Crystal from OC and Mike from SLC both finished in the Top 50 and were the office’s hi rollers for the week. Congrats to Mike and Crystal for an amazing performance and thanks to the OC squad for making the 12 hour trip up to SLC in the snow to help out with training. The OC squad has an open invitation for any future visits. The SLC office will be looking to visit California in the next few weeks to return the favor.
